World Book Day 2021

We are very excited about World Book Day 2021 which is fast approaching!

This year we are going to have a reading competition called Drop Everything and Read.

We are asking you to read for pleasure and keep a log. Click on the Google Form link below to log your reading:

https://forms.gle/MFoppcPUPnUY1EdC9

Every time you log your reading a ticket will be entered into the raffle.  The more you read the more tickets will go into the raffle and therefore the more chances you have of winning one of our brilliant prizes.

There will be a super hamper prize, one for each class, full of fantastic goodies (see the photos below).  This competition is for all children, in school and at home.  We hope everyone gets involved to further develop a passion for reading :-)

Reading at home - Support from Bradford Libraries

We understand it might be proving difficult to read at home, you may have read all the books you have or only have a limited amount of books etc.  If so please look into the Bradford Libraries.  They are offering free membership and a click and collect service amongst other things...

Please take a look via the link below at how their story sessions and other events and resources can support reading at home. Please contact them also if you would like to borrow books from the library service during this period.
