At St. Anthony’s we bring faith, fun, learning and culture together, relating Christ’s message of love, mercy and kindness to modern life. Our Catholic identity is not exclusive to RE lessons and worship but shines throughout every aspect of school and every adult in school, helping the children in their lifelong journey with God as part of our community of faith as we ourselves journey towards our 'Outstanding 2020 Vision'.

Our wonderful children are bright eyed and enthusiastic: they want to achieve in all areas of the curriculum - thanks to the work of our staff and governors and the steadfast support of our parents.

We hope you enjoy browsing our website and even following us on Twitter. We can only show you a fraction of the vibrant work that happens here each day and offer you a glimpse of our exciting developments. I would love you to accept an invite to come and visit us in person where you can see every child, every chance, every day in action together with Christ.

We look forward to welcoming you, your children and your family to the family of St. Anthony's Catholic Primary School as we stay focused on our 'Outstanding 2020 Vision'

Another Half Term slipping by!!!

Posted: Mar 27, 2017 by: sacps-admin on: Head Teacher's Blog

I can't believe we are coming to the end of this half term already. We only have two weeks and two days left until we break up for Easter. We are busy with the preparations for Easter, holding Lenten assemblies daily. We have completed another round of lesson observations and seen some amazing learning in classes. Well done to everyone for working so hard. We have also arranged the date for our Parent/Carer evening after the Easter break. See the newsletter for more information. We have also agreed dates for TSC Sports and Coaching to run activity clubs during the holidays right up to August. Collect a booking form from the office if you wish to book for Easter. All dates are on the newsletter. These clubs represent excellent value for money and provide lots of great activities to keep children active during the school holidays. Over the next couple of weeks teachers will be assessing their children to see what progress they have made this half term, they will share this information with you when you come to meet the teachers after Easter. Have a good week and fingers crossed the weather stays good!
